Sales Commissions User Guide

This guide is for salesmen and sales representatives to track their earnings and performance metrics.

1. Accessing Your Commissions

From the sidebar, navigate to Sales > My Commissions. This page is strictly personal—you will only see commissions linked to your own sales.

2. Tracking Your Earnings

The dashboard provides a clear breakdown of your financial status: * This Month: The total commission amount calculated for the current period. * Pending: Commissions that have been calculated but are currently being verified by the accounts team. * Paid: Total earnings that have been successfully settled and transferred to you. * YTD Total: Your total "Year to Date" earnings for the current fiscal year.

3. Reviewing Commission Notes

The list view below the summary allows you to drill down into individual transactions: * Date: When the commission was earned. * Reference: The Sales Order or Deal # that generated the commission. * Rule: The calculation rule applied (e.g., "Silver Level 2%"). If no rule is shown, it may be a manual adjustment or bonus. * Amount: Your calculated share of the deal. * Status: - PENDING: Waiting for accountant review. - CONFIRMED: Finalized and ready for payout. - PAID: Payout completed.

4. Payment & Settlement

Your commissions are processed by the Accounts department. Depending on company policy, they will be paid through either: 1. Monthly Payroll: Added to your monthly salary bank transfer. 2. Accounts Payable: Paid as a separate direct transfer or check.

5. Filtering Results

Use the Paid / Unpaid toggle buttons at the top right to quickly see what is outstanding and what has been settled.
