๐Ÿš€ Bulk Migration Workflow

The Data Import Tool follows a standardized safety process:

  1. Entity Selection: Choose the type of data you are migrating (Products, Customers, Vendors, or Opening Balances).
  2. File Upload: Drag and drop your CSV or Excel file.
  3. AI-AutoMap: Click the "Auto-Map" button. The system uses AI to guess the mapping between your spreadsheet headers and ebosAi fields.
  4. Dry-Run Validation: The system checks for errors (e.g., duplicate SKUs, invalid tax IDs) before any data is saved.
  5. Background Processing: Large files are processed in the background, allowing you to continue working while the migration completes.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Opening Balances

Bringing in your historical financial state is a two-step process: - Master Data First: Always import your Product and Partner lists before their balances. - Ledger Alignment: Importing opening balances for Sales/Purchases will automatically generate the necessary Journal Entries to initialize your ledger.

๐Ÿงช Testing & Sandbox Tools

Before importing your real business data, use the Testing section to explore the platform: - Auto Fill Test Data: Populate the system with sample transactions, staff, and products to see how the reports and dashboards function. - Reset Data: Wipe all transaction and master data to return the system to a "Clean State." - Caution: Resetting data is permanent and requires a double-confirmation.

๐Ÿ›‘ The Go-Live Date

The ebosAi Hub includes a safety lock to protect your production data: - Testing Period: You can use the "Auto Fill" and "Reset" tools freely before your set Go-Live date. - Go-Live Lock: Once the system passes the Go-Live date set in Manager Control, all testing and reset tools are permanently disabled. - Data Protection: After Go-Live, the system enters a strict audit mode where data can only be modified via standard accounting corrections.
