MERP25 User Guide: Broadcasts (Company Announcements)¶
Broadcasts are manual announcements sent by System Administrators or Company Managers. Unlike automated notifications, these are human-written messages intended for the whole company or specific departments.
1. What are Broadcasts used for?¶
Your management team will use broadcasts for: - System Maintenance: "MERP25 will be down for maintenance this Sunday at 10 PM." - Policy Updates: "New expense claim guidelines have been uploaded to the AI Knowledge Base." - Company News: "Welcome to our new regional manager for the Dubai office."
2. Viewing Broadcast History¶
If you missed a message on your main dashboard, you can always find the complete record of all company-wide communication in the Broadcast History page. - Audit Trail: Every broadcast shows who sent it and exactly when it was published. - Persistence: Unlike notifications, broadcasts are permanent records of your company's official internal communication.
3. How to Respond¶
Broadcasts are currently "Read-Only." If you have questions about a specific announcement, please reach out to the individual or department listed as the sender (found in the message metadata).
[!NOTE] Who can send broadcasts? Only users with the Admin or Manager role can create and send new broadcasts to the team.
