Commission Engine & Earnings User Manual

Module: Commission Engine (M5)

Product: ebosAi AMP
Classification: Public / End-User Documentation
Version: 2.0

1. Commission Models

The ebosAi Commission Engine calculates partner rewards automatically when attributed conversions take place. Merchants configure one of two primary commission models:

  1. Percentage Model (Default):
  2. You receive a set percentage of the customer's purchase or subscription value (e.g., 15% of a $100 plan = $15.00).
  3. Lump Sum / Flat-Fee Bounty:
  4. You receive a fixed cash bounty for every qualified new customer signup (e.g., $50.00 flat per Pro signup).

Merchants can also establish Partner Tiers (Standard, Silver, Gold) that provide increasing commission rates as your referral volume grows.

2. Commission Status Lifecycle

Every commission note progresses through defined lifecycle stages:

Pending --> Approved : Holding Period Cleared (30 Days)
Pending --> Rejected : Fraud / Customer Refund / Cancellation
Approved --> Posted : Payout Batch Settled & Transferred

Lifecycle Definitions:

pending Newly created upon conversion. Held during the merchant's holding period (typically 30 days) to protect against chargebacks and refunds. None. Awaiting automatic maturity.
approved The holding period has elapsed without refund. The commission is verified and queued for payout. Ensure bank details are saved in profile.
posted The commission has been included in a completed payout batch and transferred to your bank/payment account. Check your bank statement.
rejected The customer refunded, cancelled during trial, or failed anti-fraud checks. Check rejection reason note.
