Product Catalogue & Plan Targeting User Manual¶
Module: Product Catalogue (M3)¶
Product: ebosAi AMP
Classification: Public / End-User Documentation
Version: 2.0
1. Overview of Product Catalogue¶
The Product Catalogue lists all products, plans, and subscription tiers that the merchant makes available for affiliate promotion.
By targeting specific catalogue products when generating your referral links, you can: - Direct Audience to Dedicated Checkouts: Avoid intermediate landing pages and send prospects directly to the plan you are recommending. - Earn Plan-Specific Commission Bounties: Benefit from specialized commission rates set by the merchant on higher-tier plans.
2. Standard vs Product-Specific Referral Links¶
Standard Link: https://app.ebosai.com/ref/general-promo
↳ Redirects to Merchant Main Home Page
↳ Earns Merchant Default Commission (e.g. 10%)
Targeted Link: https://app.ebosai.com/ref/pro-plan-deal
↳ Redirects directly to Pro Plan Checkout
↳ Earns Product-Specific Commission (e.g. $50 Bounty or 20%)
3. How to Create a Product-Targeted Link¶
- Log into your partner portal and navigate to Links (
/partners/links) or Browse Merchants & Products (/partners/merchants). - Click Create Custom Link (or click Promote Product directly from
/partners/merchants). - In the Target Product dropdown menu, review the available products. Each product entry shows:
- Product Name (e.g., Pro Plan Annual, Enterprise Suite)
- Price & Billing Cycle (e.g., $299 / year)
- Commission Rate (e.g., 20% or $50 flat bounty)
- Select your chosen product.
- Enter a link label and optional campaign tag.
- Click Generate Link and copy your new
/ref/{slug}URL.
4. Handling Archived or Inactive Products¶
Merchants periodically update their product offerings. If a merchant archives a product: - New Links: The archived product will no longer appear in the Target Product dropdown for new link creation. - Existing Links: Any active link previously pointing to that product will continue to function seamlessly. Clicks will automatically fall back to the merchant's primary landing page, and signups will be calculated at standard default commission rates.
[!TIP] Periodically check your Links table to ensure you are actively promoting current, high-converting products!
