Module 07: Sales & Commercial Billing

The Sales module (/sales/*) manages the complete Order-to-Cash (O2C) commercial workflow, encompassing Quotations, Sales Orders, UAE FTA Tax Invoices, Cash Counter Sales, Sales Commission Ledger, and E-Invoicing integration.

🎯 Core Components

1. Sales Dashboard (/sales/dashboard)

  • Monthly revenue trends, top 10 revenue-generating customers, order conversion velocity, and credit limit compliance metrics.

2. Sales Orders (/sales/orders)

  • Order Lifecycle: Draft → Confirmed → Delivered → Invoiced → Completed.
  • Order Fields: Customer, Order Date, Delivery Target Date, Payment Terms, Project Tag, Salesperson, Item SKU lines, Quantities, Unit Prices, Line Discount (%), VAT Rate (5% Standard), Subtotal, Tax Amount, and Total Amount.
  • Automated Credit Check: Prevents order confirmation if the customer's total outstanding balance exceeds their assigned Credit Limit.

3. Tax Invoices (/sales/invoices)

  • UAE FTA Compliance: Generates official Tax Invoices complying with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations (TRN of buyer & seller, invoice serial number, tax breakdown per item line in AED).
  • UAE E-Invoicing Support (Peppol / PINT AE): Automatic generation of XML payload structure for electronic B2B invoice transmission.

4. Cash Sales (/sales/cash-sales)

  • Direct point-of-sale cash transaction form for fast over-the-counter sales without requiring a credit sales order pipeline. Auto-generates instant paid cash receipt.

5. Sales Commission Ledger (/sales/my-commissions)

  • Real-time commission ledger tracking sales representative earnings based on rule targets (percentage of invoice collection or percentage of gross margin).
