🎯 User-Based Sidebar Menu Control (UserSidebarMenuModal)

In addition to role-based security, administrators can customize the top-level sidebar navigation menus and sub-menus visible to specific users.

Features & Behavior

  • Accessed via the Custom Sidebar Menu (SlidersHorizontal) icon on any user row in User Management.
  • Display Filter Layer: Filters which top-level items and sub-menu routes load into the user's sidebar UI.
  • Preserved Gating: Underlying role permissions (toast error if unpermitted) and subscription plan gating (upgrade modal) continue to execute on loaded items.
  • Default State: If allowed_sidebar_menus is empty/null, the user sees all menu items permitted by their role and subscription plan.
